At Nu-Bird, we strive to design, create and provide real working solutions for the dental industry. Owned and operated by foundersLauraandLee Emmons, two hygienists who work on the front lines and desire to help find a solution to our dental dilemmas.
Nu-Bird Inc. is a young vibrant company based in the Pacific Northwest which designs, manufactures and markets the patented Nu-Bird dental suction mirror. We educate and train dental clinicians in how to use HVE evacuation mirror system on patients during dental procedures which require a mirror, water-spray, suction and retraction.
Nu-Bird was birthed from a wide variety of background experience and skills which extend from Carpentry, aero-space tooling, welding exotic metals, bronze art sculpture, machining, dental assisting and dental hygiene. Joining art and science, Nu-Bird is dedicated to the creation and manufacturing of uniquely designed instruments for all dental clinicians which improve ergonomics, patient management, accuracy and access. Through the use of Nu-Bird’s instruments, doctors and hygienists can better focus on the primary tasks and provide the best patient care in a more timely fashion.
Working on the front lines as licensed dental hygienists in Washington State, Lee and Laura Emmons know firsthand that necessity is the mother of invention. As experienced providers, they identify problems first hand and work to find solutions to relieve the burden of managing secondary tasks. This allows clinicians to better focus on primary tasks. With such careful attention to detail and superior design, Nu-Bird has improved upon the instruments available for medical and dental procedures.
Clinicians who have adopted the Nu-Bird Dental Suction Mirror in their practices have realized it’s cut their time down performing dental procedures with increased accuracy. When getting your teeth cleaned there are certain areas in the mouth that clinicians can’t see. Hygienists and dentists are guessing and missing quite a bit. The Nu-Bird Suction Mirror has extended the visibility into the oral cavity and allows them to work more accurately without drowning the patient.
The Nu-Bird Dental Suction Mirror has been successfully implemented in a number of dental clinics and schools.
